I made this character that I was going to animate if I had more time. He is a blue blob with a Shna Shna Schnappi song. Blob has a shadow to make him more realistic and to make him look better. He was going to sing the Shna Shna Schnappi song if I had the time to animate him and put it to music. I made each limb on him that was supposed to be movable a different layer so that it would be easy to animate. The mouths are all in the shape of different common sounds and would replace the base mouth on the character when he was singing. All the mouths are also all different layers to make animating them extremely easy.

- What did you create?  Why did you pick these subjects over others? Does the subject have any specific meaning to you?

I created two cinemagraphs. One is of a glass with water flowing into it and the other is me typing on a calculator. I picked both because I thought they look cool. Water has a specific meaning to me because I need to drink it to survive. A calculator is similar because I need it to survive math class.

- What was difficult about this project?  Is there anything you would recommend for someone in the future?

It was difficult to record the videos and remain completely still. In the future I'd try to use a tripod or stand for my camera. Nothing else was too difficult but I really didn't do anything that complicated. My motion was all in one very specific part of the image.

1. Explain who your character is and how they play into the story.
   
   My character is Emmet's long lost brother who was the first test subject for the Kragle. His name is Bennet. Lord Business decided to try the Kragle out on an ordinary construction worker years before the start of the Lego Movie. A normal red lego brick was glued to Bennet's head. Bennet eventually escaped Lord Business' grasp and ran away to Cloud Cuckoo Land. He is embarrassed over his new "hat" so Emmet isn't even aware that he is alive. 
   
   
   
2. Explain your process to make this character.
   
   I thought about what kind of character would fit into the story well. There really isn't too much backstory to what happened before the events of the Lego movie and Emmet's family is never mentioned. I decided that he was originally a normal construction worker like Emmet but was the first test subject for the Kragle. Since he was a "reject" due to his "hat" he is embarrassed about his appearance and therefore acts mean. He can't have hair because of the brick glued to his head.
   
   
   
3. What things do you find successful and what might you change for next time.

My character looks like someone who would be in the lego movie, however, he is really plain. Some of the other main characters are extremely goofy and are very colorful. He fits into the story well and I like how he looks. The one problem I had was shading. I'm not very good at shading at all and am trying to get better.
